Joanna approaches skin with the eye of an artist, the mind of a scientist and the curiosity of a lifelong student.
Originally on a pre-med path, Joanna studied biology and gained experience in healthcare before finding her focus in skincare. Her own persistent skin concerns sparked a deeper interest in skin science and led her to pursue esthetics, beginning with her training at the International Dermal Institute in California.
Early in her career, Joanna traveled between major beauty capitals, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Vancouver and New York City, honing her technique and learning from leading experts across the industry. Over time, her approach evolved to balance clinical knowledge, artistic sensibility and a deep understanding of skin.
In 2013, she moved to the East Coast and joined Rescue Spa in Philadelphia. As a Lead Esthetician, she spent seven years refining her craft and treating thousands of clients.
In 2021, with growing demand and a clear vision, Joanna founded Skin Devotee in Rittenhouse Square. Opening during a pandemic, the studio quickly established a reputation for its sought-after treatments and its commitment to client trust and integrity.
Today, Joanna's approach is intentional, unhurried and highly individualized, combining technical expertise with a refined eye for detail. Her focus is on skin longevity, not fighting the natural aging process.
