Spa Policies

We require a major credit card to schedule an appointment online or over the phone.

You will not be charged at the time of your booking, however your credit card will remain on file to be used as payment for your service if you wish to use it.

Please arrive as close to your appointment time as possible and notify us of by calling 267-312-0929 or ringing the doorbell located outside of the building.

If you arrive too early, you may be asked to wait outside.

If you are running late, please notify us ASAP.

If you arrive more than 10 mins late for your appointment, we will do our best to accommodate you, however your service may be cut short due to scheduling and time constraints.

If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, we ask that you provide us with at least a 24 hour notice.

If a client NO-SHOWs, then all/any future appointments will be automatically forfeited unless the missed appointment is paid in full.

For all missed appointments or those NOT cancelled within 24 hours, a cancellation fee will be automatically charged up to the full price or 100% of the service.

Cancellations made within a 24 hour window can be rescheduled for a later date and time if necessary.

Services are by appointment only. We are not able to accommodate walks-in at this time.

Covid-19 Updates

To prevent the spread of COVID-19 our staff has been fully vaccinated.

In order to get the full experience, we strongly encourage our clients to be vaccinated as well.

For your health and safety here are some of the additional steps we are taking to ensure we meet the guidelines outlined by the skincare industry to help you and all of us at Skin Devotee remain healthy and glowing.

The following COVID-19 guidelines from the federal, state and local government are being implemented to help create an environment that’s safe for you and everyone.

• Require face coverings for all clients when entering and exiting the building.

• Require face coverings for all employees when working.

• Conducting temperature checks for our employees and clients.

• Require employees and clients to wash and sanitize their hands frequently.

• Educating our employees and clients about the symptoms and prevention of COVID-19.

• Ask employees and clients if they are sick, or have been exposed to COVID-19 within the last 14 days, to stay at home.

• Implementing sanitation stations with hand sanitizer at our entry ways.

• Cleaning the retail/reception, treatment rooms, restrooms and any other common areas used by clients before and after their appointments.

• Using touch-less equipment to minimize skin-to-skin contact upon client request.

• Maintaining social distance, and number of clients during the shopping and checkout process.

• Suspending the use of testers and sampling temporarily to maintain hygienic standards.

• Use of UV light for sterilization of tools and implements.

• Limit hours of operation to allow time for additional sanitization and cleaning.

• Properly handle all packaging and products based on COVID-19 retail guidelines.

• Temporarily only accepting returns of unopened merchandise to minimize COVID-19 virus concerns.

Yes. We require that all clients coming in for services sign a COVID-19 waiver before entering Skin Devotee Facial Studio.

As required by healthy and safety laws, we want to protect you in the best way possible which includes the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

We do not charge a fee for PPE. (Subject to change)

Anyone who hasn’t been recently exposed to Covid-19 or been in contact with someone who has tested positive.

Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Skin Devotee reserves the right to refuse service to anyone not following our guidelines and policies.

With the exception of a parent or legal guardian for those under 18, no one else will be permitted to wait inside or accompany a client into the treatment room.

Only one client is allowed per service appointment.

Orders

When you place an order, you will view a receipt page containing an order confirmation number. If you do not see a receipt page after submitting your order, your order was not submitted successfully.

When you place an order a copy of your receipt will also be sent to the email address that you included in your order.



Before your order has been prepared for shipment, our customer service team can help you add or remove items in your order. Should you wish for us to do so please e-mail us.

An order may be cancelled if it has not been processed and prepared for shipment. To cancel your order, please e-mail us during business hours (9:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern from Monday-Friday) for immediate assistance.

Payments

We do not accept cash for products and services.

We strongly encourage paying for your products and services with a major debit or credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards with US billing addresses.

For any other types of payment you will directed to that payment gateway's page to 'Log in' into your payment account if you have one with them and proceed in that way to pay for your order.

For gratuity we accept one of the following methods of payment:

- cash

- VENMO

- or you can have gratuity added on to the cost of your service.

By law, Skin Devotee collects all applicable sales taxes from the following States & U.S. Territory:

Shipping

We ship to all 50 U.S. states as well as Washington, D.C.

We do not ship to P.O. boxes, A.P.O. or F.P.O. nor do we offer international shipping at this time.

Orders placed before 1 p.m. Eastern will be processed the same business day. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be processed the next business day.

Delivery time of your order depends on the availability of the product, the shipping destination and shipping method chosen.

Shipping Methods we offer:

Free Economy Shipping (5-8 Business Days) is eligible on orders of $100 or more, after discounts, without accounting for any shipping and handling costs.

Orders are processed and picked up by the carrier for shipment to you within 3-5 business days upon receipt of your order. You will receive an email from us if items are on backorder or are out of stock.

Please see our Shipping Policy for more information on shipping and delivery times.

Once you place an order you will receive an email from Skin Devotee with information and any updates about your order.

You can then track your order by these methods:

• Go to this USPS tracking Webpage and enter your tracking info.

• From your account, you can view the status of your order, reorder products, create and share a wishlist and more.

• If you did not register for an account, please e-mail us for your order information.

Signatures are required for any order over $500. If you do not wish to provide a signature upon delivery you can either include in the notes section during checkout process of your order or contact us.

If you are unable be present to receive your delivery for any reason, we suggest contacting the carrier to inform them of your situation. Alternatively we suggest signing up with any service that the carrier offers as a convenience to address your shipping concerns.

Yes we offer Curbside Pickup.

For Curbside Pick up, all orders placed will be fulfilled within 24 hours and ready for pick up on the next business day.

You will receive a confirmation email when your order is ready, with the pick up times listed for you to select.

Skin Devotee Facial Studio is open:

Wednesday - Saturday

Pick up times are between:

11:30pm-12:00pm

1:30pm-2:00pm

3:30pm-4:00pm

5:30pm-6:00pm

Please make sure to review the order confirmation email to select your times and further instructions.

If you are unable to meet your time slot for any reason, you can pick up your order at the same time slot you had picked, on the next business day.

To Pick up your order:

- Please bring your order confirmation email.

- Have a valid photo ID with you to verify your order.

- Please call 267-312-0929 when you arrive.

- We will meet you at the curbside with your order.

Skin Devotee Facial Studio is closed Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and on major holidays.

If you place an order on the days we are closed, then your order will be ready the next business day when we reopen.

A confirmation email will be sent to you to inform you of your order pick up.

Please note:

You have 15 business days to pick up your curbside order. If you fail to pickup your order within this time your order will be refunded for the full amount and the product returned to our inventory.

We cannot guarantee the same product will be available the next time you return to purchase on our e-store.

Returns & Exchanges

Since we are an authorized reseller, we receive products directly from the vendors we partner with.

Every product is guaranteed to be authentic and in its original packaging.

Prior to shipping your order, every product is carefully inspected to ensure that no seals are broken, no products have been resealed or tampered with, and no products are damaged, leaking, including the packaging of the products.

Therefore we do not accept refunds, exchanges or issue returns of unopened, resealed, damaged, stolen or any way tampered with merchandise during the shipping of your order to you.

It is the responsibility of the customer to read all the ingredients on the product page which we provide, that corresponds to the original packaging of the product, before making a decision to buy it.

There is also a feature to "Ask a Question" on every product page for your convenience in order to ask us Skin Devotee any questions or clarify any issues with the product information or the product itself before buying the product.

Should you wish to disregard the above, we do not take responsibility for reasons of return or exchanges on products that you decide to buy, that are based on ingredients or any pertinent information that is otherwise listed on our product web pages.

If for reasons not relating to the above mentioned scenarios, where you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to offer a refund or store credit on all goods returned to us within 14 days of purchase provided they are in their original packaging, unopened, not resealed, tampered with in any way and are in unused condition.

We may request to see proof, like photographs of the unopened, unused packaging and products, including all the samples that was sent to you in their original state.

The original shipping charge, if any, is not refundable.

If the products have been damaged please see the following next FAQ on damaged product.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for lost, stolen, damaged items during the shipping process. That is the responsibility of the shipping company and you will be required to open up a claim with them.

We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization number only after the following has been satisfied:

- you have provided us with photos of the unopened, untampered or unsealed/resealed items in their original packaging.

- The reason you are returning the product(s).

PLEASE NOTE: All return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer, including insurance, signature waivers/requirement and any US postal related costs incurred.

When the return package is received from you, your funds (the value of the item(s) purchased and any tax applied) will be returned to the original form of payment within 14 days or for store credit.

Every order is carefully inspected and packaged. Once your order leaves Skin Devotee facility it is in the hands of the shipping company/carrier.

If the products have been damaged during the shipping process ( that is after leaving our facilities), you will need to file a claim with the shipping company/carrier that was used.

We will provide you with any relevant information regarding you order, should you need to open up a claim with the carrier.

We do not accept returns or exchanges or offer refunds on any products that were damaged during the shipping process.

Once your order leaves Skin Devotee facility, it is in the hands of the carrier.

Please verify through your tracking number if your package was delivered to a Parcel Locker.

Shipping carriers like USPS will deliver to a parcel locker if the package is too big to fit into your regular mailbox.

The parcel locker may be located near your regular mailbox or apartment or office building.

USPS provides a key for you in your mailbox, that corresponds to the parcel locker so you can open the locker and retrieve the package.

The package is typically held for 7-10 days subject to USPS policy.

If you did not receive a parcel locker key or do not know the location of the parcel locker, please contact USPS at 1-800-275-8777 (1-800-ASK-USPS).

Provide them with your tracking number that you received in the email when your package was shipped.

Ask USPS about the parcel locker key and/or the location of the parcel locker.

LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES

If your package is lost or stolen, you will need to file a claim for lost or stolen packages with the carrier by clicking the link below:

We do not offer refunds or replacements of products on any lost or stolen packages, as the package is in the responsibility of the shipping company.

Skin Devotee Facial Studio Gift Card is a physical Gift Card that you can purchase exclusively at our physical location in Philadelphia. You can use this physical Gift Card in-store only towards purchases of products and services.

To check your balance on your E-Gift Card, Gift Certificate or physical Gift Card contact us to look up your balance using your:

• full name
• the gift card order number
• last four digits on your E-Gift Card or physical Gift Card.

No, E-Gift Cards, Gift Certificates and physical Gift Cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, subject to applicable law.

E-Gift Card

• Simply purchase an e-gift card for the amount you wish to gift.
• When you complete your order, you will receive an email with the e-gift card code.
• Then forward that email to the person you wish to gift, so they can redeem it for any online purchases made on skindevotee.com.
